Jim Zaslavsky, DO
Dr. Jim Zaslavsky is an orthopedic surgeon with advanced fellowship training in spine surgery. He is joining our group to offer specialty spinal care to the local community.
Dr. Zaslavsky was raised in Newtown of Bucks County and attended high school at Council Rock. He then studied at The University of the Sciences in Philadelphia achieving a Masters in Physical Therapy. After practicing as a physical therapist in the Philadelphia and Bucks County area for 3 years he went to medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. While in medical school he also obtained an MBA from St Joes University. Dr. Zaslavsky has completed a residency ay Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and The Rothman Institute in Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Zaslavsky has obtained advanced training in spine surgery during a fellowship at Twin Cites Spine Institution. He brings to our practice advanced treatment modalities in non-operative and operative care of the spine.
Dr. Zaslavsky also contributes to advancing the science of orthopedics through writing scholarly articles and lecture presentations.
Jim currently lives in the Philadelphia area with his wife and daughter. He participates in many local fundraising events in the community and is an avid marathoner and triathlete.
